Connect history with in color. Learn how color appeared in the everyday lives of people in days gone by. Explore everything from laundry to gardening to printing. The photographs might be black and white, but the rest certainly isn’t.
Activities include exploring Heirloom vegetables, laundry bluing, block printing and much more!
Note: In order to give students hands-on experiences, we suggest families rotate in small groups. Thus the maximum capacity of this program is about 100 students.
The ideal age for this program is 4 to 17. Program activities take place from 10 am to 2 pm, unless otherwise noted. We suggest allowing at least 2 hours to take part in the program. The Two Creeks Town Hall is available for families to take a snack or lunch break, or enjoy a quiet space to play.
Family field trip/homeschool program admission is $6 for students age 4 to 17. Children under 4 are admitted free. One adult educator per family is admitted free. Additional adults may join in the program at a cost of $12 each. Payment is due upon registration.
Please register to attend by June 22.
