Experience a meal you’ll never forget! Join our historical cooks as they serve a historic meal in the Meeme House, located in our Historic Village. Guests will play parlor games, be served a family style meal (prepared by a local restaurant), and enjoy a choice of historically-inspired beverages.
Students will have the opportunity to make at least 2 candy canes in the blacksmith shop
You’ll have the opportunity to print your creation onto a beautiful greeting card using the elegant press in the Historic Village’s Printing Office, and take home a set of six printed notecards with envelopes.
A cupcake was once a simple cake mixed with a cup of butter, a cup of sugar, and a cup of flour, and eggs. This popular simple sweet treat always tastes better baked in the woodstove and served with from-scratch hot chocolate. Help us mix up a pot of hot chocolate to drink and a batch of cupcakes to enjoy in the cozy holiday kitchen.
As you explore the 19th-century Historic Village, learn how Wisconsinites at the turn of the 20th century would have been preparing for the cold months ahead. See homes being prepared for snow and cold, clothing being mended, and kitchens being stocked for the winter months.
