Learn the art of hand sewing! Make this basic 19th century style sewing kit called a “housewife.” The housewife uses a variety of basic stitches including the running stitch, whip stitch, and running backstitch.

Please bring any beverages that you would like as well as a lunch and/or snacks. Check in at the McAllister House Welcome Center by 8:45 a.m. Please note that class size is limited. Appropriate for ages 10-adult.

Advanced registration required. Workshop fee is $75 for Non-members. MCHS Members receive a 15% discount.
