Cooking on an open fire, washing clothes by hand, keeping a diligent eye on the kids while also tending to some worn clothes in dire need of a patch job. This was common life for a woman back in pioneer times, and no woman was a stranger to this lifestyle. But our pioneer women also started libraries, classrooms, museums, and so much more.

About the Hungry for History Series:
This program is part of the Society's Hungry for History series with a meal following the program. Doors will open at 5 pm for the program. The presentation will begin at 5:30 pm with a meal to follow.
