Schedule for February:
Celebrate Victorian romance during this winter weekend!
Today’s highlights:
The huge skirts! The small waists! How did Victorian women manage to create these fashionable looks? With underwear, of course. Throughout the 19th century, women were constantly reshaping their bodies to ever-changing ideals using corsets, hoops, and bustles. Join in this special presentation on undergarments at 11:30 and 2 pm.
Discover the history and the joys of horse-drawn sleigh driving with an old-fashioned sleigh rally. Antique horse-drawn sleighs will converge on the museum’s Pinecrest Village for the sleigh rally, featuring drivers competing in a variety of categories at 1 pm. This is weather and condition dependent!
The blacksmiths are in the shop, showcasing their historic trade.
Warm up beside a fire in the Two Creeks Town Hall and enjoy a hot beverage.
Enhance your visit with a Hands-on Workshop
Advanced registration is required for the Create-Connect workshops. Click on the titles for information about each program. Your workshop fee also includes general admission for the day!
