Family Blacksmithing Workshop
Saturday, September 27 from 12 Noon until 3 pm
This class will allow an adult/parent/grandparent to work with a child as they learn historic blacksmithing techniques in a historic setting. Everyone will get to make several small, hands-on projects, such as small dinner triangles and hooks, while learning about proper safety in a workshop environment.
All costs of materials are included in the cost of the class.
Please bring heavy work gloves, eye protection, and water bottle. Closed toed shoes are preferred.
Advanced Registration
Ages 10 and up
Fee: $100 per pair (1 adult and 1 child), MCHS members get 15% off.
Check in at the McAllister House Welcome Center by 11:45 a.m. Your workshop fee also includes general admission for the day!
